cooking is a beautiful and simple life pleasure enjoyed morning, day and night. so we created two spaces to cook - a chef’s kitchen inside, and an outdoor brick barbecue with wood, charcoal or gas cooking.

the kitchen has been hand built, featuring the japanese shou sugi ban technique that blackens and protects the timber. it’s a chef’s kitchen and a delight to cook in.

the kitchen features a 900mm falcon oven with a natural gas cooktop. cast iron skillets and copper pots are provided, as well as everything else you would need to immerse in home cooking away from home.

we built a brick barbecue to cook over wood fire or charcoals. there’s also the wood fired pizza oven which is perfect for pizza or roasting fish and vegetables. if you feel like cooking outside but the fire is in the too hard basket, the double butane cooker fits perfectly on the brick base.
